Kanttarelleja, maiskis!

OMG!

I'm not sure if I should tell you this, but...
Today I received my order from Sussex Crafts Miniatures sussexcrafts.com (Please notice: the link successfully added) and I just wanted to send a quick mail to thank them for a package and thank for a miniature rosecard and envilope which were included as a compliment to my order. I sent the mail from my tablet, no problem, but as the message was sent I noticed that when I had written (blaa, blaa, blaa) and thanks for the card, it was lovely, the bloody predictive text had written Thatcher was lovely!!! What!! No! Let's not mix politics with miniatures!! Where can I hide, anyone any ideas?? They must think that Mss K. has had some GT's for breakfast, which I obviously had not had! So all you that know me, please tell the others I prefer wine, not GT!

PS. The stairs are getting on slowly but surely.

New staircase

Should  I say Oh la la!
After my last post Patrick kindly explained to me how to add an link to your text. So here we go boys and girls, these are one of my favorite blogs at this moment ajarnpatrick.blogspot.com and miniaturesladan.wifeo.com Patrick, thank you for saving me from reading boring instructions!

After a few days at summer cottage we're back at home and because it seems there is a thunder coming our way, I decided it's a good moment to catch up with my house project. And because there's nobody stopping me, I decided to build the stairs once again. Yes, I seem to do everything at least twice with this project... I told earlier this spring that some of my staircases wen't broken during the exhibition. That was a bit frustrating, but I've also noticed that my precent staircases do not really fit the hole where they are supposed to fit, and that's more than a bit frustrating, grrrrr!
Anyway, now I've started and at least most of the bannisters stayed unharmed, so they won't need much attention.

Vanha uskollinen Poni - Old Faithful

Today was the last weekday before my four week summer vacation, and it really didn't come too soon! Come rain or shine, I'm going to enjoy the feeling of wakeing up without an alarm clock shouting beside my pillow! Though because of the difficult situation we have an alive alarm clock, Otto, staying more often with us, even he doesn't wake up at 6 am, bless him!
We don't have any specific plans for holidays, but no doubt we'll spend some time at the summer cottage. There's always Old Faithful, Poni, waiting for us on the window sill...

For past few days I have surfed at miniature/dollhouse blogs. (Please don't tell anyone, because I suppose it's something you're not supposed to do at work)? BUT! I've found some really inspirational blogs and at this point I want to thank Patricia Ladan for joying my readers! I'm so sorry I don't speak any French, but surely you'll know what I mean when I say Your work is fantastic!
And talking about those French! Have you seen the blog Travel to Siam by Patrick Duclou? His miniature works are a real pleasure for the eye! (I really must learn how to add the links to all those wonderful blogs, help!) but until next time, enjoy the weekend!
